Lords Hotels and Resorts announces the signing of its latest property in the picturesque town of Sagara, nestled within the verdant landscape of Shivamogga district, Karnataka. The new leisure retreat is poised to welcome guests by the fourth quarter of 2025, offering a peaceful sanctuary amidst the stunning natural beauty of the Western Ghats.

Set against a backdrop of rolling hills and rich greenery, the upcoming retreat will feature well-appointed rooms, a multi-cuisine restaurant, bar, banquet hall, swimming pool, and a curated selection of guest amenities designed for comfort, relaxation, and immersive travel experiences.

Strategically located in one of Southern India’s most serene destinations, the retreat places guests within easy reach of some of Karnataka’s most iconic attractions. From the roaring Jog Falls – one of the highest waterfalls in India – to the tranquil Sharavati River, the historic Keladi and Ikkeri temples, and the lush Sharavathi Valley Wildlife Sanctuary, the region offers a unique blend of natural beauty, cultural heritage, and biodiversity.

Pushpendra Bansal, COO, Lords Hotels and Resorts, shared his enthusiasm, stating, “This new signing marks an important step in our continued efforts to develop experiential properties in offbeat and naturally rich locations. Sagara’s breathtaking landscapes, sacred heritage, and eco-rich surroundings make it an ideal addition to our leisure portfolio. We are excited to bring Lords signature warmth, service, and value to this charming part of Karnataka.”

Sudhir Jena, VP Corporate further added, “This expansion underscores Lords Hotels and Resorts’ commitment to delivering meaningful travel experiences that blend nature, culture, and hospitality across India. With its ideal setting for nature lovers, leisure travellers, and cultural explorers, the Sagara property is expected to set a new benchmark for eco-conscious luxury stays in the region”.
