Lemon Tree Hotels Limited has announced the signing of two new resort properties in Maharashtra – Lemon Tree Resort, Tadgaon and Lemon Tree Resort, Igatpuri. With these additions, the hospitality company will have 32 properties in the state, comprising 15 operational hotels and 17 properties in the pipeline.
Both resorts will be managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited.
The latest signings reflect the company’s focus on destinations experiencing increasing demand from leisure travellers, corporate groups and event organisers. Tadgaon and Igatpuri have become popular choices for short getaways and business retreats due to their accessibility from Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane and Pune.
Lemon Tree Resort, Tadgaon, will feature 110 rooms, along with a restaurant, banquet hall, meeting and conference facilities, swimming pool, spa, and fitness centre. The property is located around 75 kilometres from Navi Mumbai International Airport and approximately 100 kilometres from Mumbai Central Railway Station.
Meanwhile, Lemon Tree Resort, Igatpuri, will offer 90 rooms and include a restaurant, banquet facilities, meeting spaces, a swimming pool, a spa, and a fitness centre. The resort is situated about 134 kilometres from Mumbai International Airport and 5.6 kilometres from Igatpuri Railway Station.
Commenting on the development, Vishvapreet Singh Cheema, President of Lemon Tree Hotels Ltd., said the company’s expansion in Tadgaon and Igatpuri aligns with changing travel preferences, as travellers and organisations increasingly seek destinations that are easily accessible for leisure breaks, family gatherings, and corporate off-sites.
The addition of these two resorts further strengthens Lemon Tree Hotels’ presence in Western India while expanding its portfolio of regional resort destinations catering to both leisure and business travel.
