The Leela Palace New Delhi announces the much-awaited reopening of Le Cirque, its iconic Franco-Italian fine dining destination. Long regarded as one of the city’s most celebrated culinary landmarks which rose to acclaim it’s place amongst World’s 50Best Discovery restaurants, now returns with a renewed space, an evolved menu, and an immersive dining experience that honours its illustrious heritage while charting an exciting new course for the future.

At the heart of the reimagined Le Cirque is a philosophy that food is not just sustenance but an art form which is timeless, elegant, and deeply cultural. The new menu sustains the inspiration of the rich culture of France and Italy, balancing classical sophistication with modern creativity, showcasing refined techniques and seasonal ingredients, thoughtful sourced from across the globe. Diners can look forward to signature highlights such as Yellowfin Tuna Crudo, Wild Mushroom & Black Truffle Tart, Lobster Ravioli “Le Cirque,” the 40-Layer NZ Lamb Lasagna, Salt-Baked Mediterranean Sea Bass, and the Mille-Feuille à la Vanille, a classic Le Cirque finale.

For the first time, Le Cirque would be welcoming guests for lunch, an immersive experience for those who would like to indulge Le Cirque’s à la carte menu in its entirety. In the evenings, dinner transforms into a theatre of taste with exclusively curated degustation menus. Guests may choose between a five-course or seven-course tasting menu, designed to showcase the finest of Le Cirque’s culinary artistry. Vegetarian and vegan options are thoughtfully incorporated, and dietary preferences are graciously accommodated.

Further enriching the experience is a dramatically reimagined wine program. Guests will discover striking temperature-controlled wine cellars, intimate tasting tables, and personalised sessions led by the in-house sommelier. The acclaimed Le Cirque wine cellar features rare vintages and celebrated international labels, curated to complement the restaurant’s iconic Franco-Italian cuisine. Guided tastings provide immersive journeys through both regional gems and global classics.

The refreshed interiors embody the quiet theatre balanced with warmth and intimacy, that Le Cirque has always been known for. Drawing from its Franco-Italian lineage and iconic New York origins, the design introduces layers of craftsmanship, from a dramatic bespoke glass tile feature wall in plum and gold to rich wood panelling, sculptural lighting, and plush textures. The journey unfolds from an elegant entrance to intimate experiential wine tasting tables, a grand main dining room, and exclusive private dining spaces, each detail carefully curated to create an environment that is immersive yet comfortable. This 40-cover restaurant is sure to reinstate the benchmarks of luxury dining in the capital.

Le Cirque’s reopening is more than a return, it is a reimagining of legacy, with an evolved menu, refined design, and immersive storytelling. To celebrate this new chapter, the restaurant is hosted an exclusive four-hands pop-up featuring Chef Diego, the former Head Chef, alongside the current culinary head of the restaurant – Chef Vashisht. This collaboration represents a symbolic passing of the baton, honouring tradition while embracing innovation, and bringing together timeless classics with contemporary creativity.

Marking this milestone, Anupam Dasgupta, Senior Vice President – Operations (North India) and Head of Wellness at The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts said, “Le Cirque has always stood for excellence and artistry in the world of fine dining. Its reopening at The Leela Palace New Delhi not only reaffirms our commitment to bringing the best culinary experiences to our guests but also marks the continuation of a legacy that resonates with global acclaim.”
