This December, KOKO unveils its latest limited-edition cocktail experience – House of Negroni, a month-long celebration of one of the world’s most iconic and divisive cocktails. Across all KOKO outposts in Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad, guests are invited to explore a bold new interpretation of the Negroni, a drink as simple as it is complex, made timeless by its perfect trinity of Gin, Vermouth, and Campari.
House of Negroni takes this three-ingredient legend and reimagines it through six distinctive serves – each designed to challenge, surprise, and seduce. Every cocktail carries the unmistakable Negroni DNA, yet brings a twist that transforms the experience entirely. Born in Florence over a century ago, the Negroni has since become the mark of true cocktail craftsmanship – a drink that divides opinion and unites purists in equal measure. Bitter, balanced, and beautifully versatile, it’s the kind of cocktail that lends itself to interpretation, and that’s exactly where KOKO steps in. House of Negroni takes this three-ingredient legend and reimagines it through six distinctive serves, each designed to challenge, surprise, and seduce. Every cocktail carries the unmistakable Negroni DNA, yet brings a twist that transforms the experience entirely.
Among the standouts is The Kitsune, made with strawberry ice cream–washed Patrón Silver, bitter blanco and blanco vermouth – a playful, dessert-leaning serve with a soft, creamy finish. The Oni follows with bacon fat–washed Dewar’s 12 Y.O., fig Campari and sweet vermouth, resulting in an unapologetically rich, smoky and velvety pour. The Centaur brings brightness and layered complexity with Khus root–rested Bombay Sapphire, Rooibos vermouth, Campari, elderflower liqueur, saline and apple juice, offering a floral, gently bittersweet profile. The Gargoyle, built with black rice–rested Bombay Sapphire, yuzu Campari, sweet vermouth and saline, is an elegant, zesty take that leans citrusy and clean. For something darker and decadent, The Phoenix combines mezcal, peated malt, Campari, sweet vermouth, truffle oil and dark chocolate to deliver a smoky, aromatic cocktail with indulgent depth. Rounding out the list is The Koi, a bold mix of salmon-rested mezcal, dill vermouth, Campari and chilli tincture, offering a savoury, spicy finish.
Echoing KOKO’s spirit of innovation, Keenan Tham, Managing Director and Co-Founder of Pebble Street Hospitality, shares: “Few drinks are as polarizing as the Negroni — people either swear by it or swear against it. But that’s what makes it fascinating. With House of Negroni, we wanted to open the conversation again by experimenting with its core simplicity — taking this three-ingredient drink and turning it into something unexpected. It’s our way of showing that there’s always room to play, even with the classics.”
True to KOKO’s commitment to craftsmanship, House of Negroni is more than just a menu – it’s an exploration of flavour, balance, and boldness. Whether you’re a purist, a skeptic, or simply curious, every pour is a new way to experience the cocktail that defined an era.
