Klook has brought together 60 leading travel creators and storytellers from India and the Middle East for Kreatorverse IN x ME 2026: Unfiltered – Beyond the Feed—the India and Middle East edition of Kreatorverse, Klook’s flagship global creator community initiative.

Hosted across Kuala Lumpur and Ipoh, Malaysia, the week-long programme was designed to strengthen connections within the region’s creator community while showcasing Malaysia through authentic, destination-first storytelling. By combining iconic attractions with emerging destinations and local experiences, Kreatorverse IN x ME 2026 empowered creators to produce culturally relevant content that inspires travellers across India and the Middle East to explore beyond the usual tourist trail.

More than a creator familiarisation trip, Kreatorverse reflects Klook’s vision of transforming social-first inspiration into real-world, bookable travel experiences. Throughout the journey, India and Middle East content creators explored Malaysia’s iconic attractions alongside lesser-known local gems, producing authentic content that showcases the country’s rich culture, heritage, hospitality and diverse experiences while inspiring millions of travellers.

Malaysia continues to be one of the most popular outbound destinations for travellers from both regions. While Kuala Lumpur remains a favourite gateway, Klook intentionally expanded this year’s itinerary to include Ipoh, an emerging destination that reflects travellers’ growing appetite for slower, more immersive and culturally enriching experiences. By spotlighting both celebrated landmarks and hidden gems, Kreatorverse encourages travellers to discover a deeper, more authentic side of Malaysia.

The week-long itinerary featured a diverse mix of experiences including KL Tower and Orbit Restaurant, Batu Caves, Genting Highlands, and Sunway Lagoon Kuala Lumpur. Creators also immersed themselves in Malaysia’s local culture through street food discoveries at Jalan Alor, heritage walks around Concubine Street, Limestone Cave temples and adventure experiences at Sunway Lost World of Tambun in Ipoh.

The initiative also underscores Klook’s continued commitment to serving travellers from India and the Middle East through expanding Muslim-friendly and culturally relevant travel offerings across Malaysia. As travel preferences evolve, Klook continues to make travel more accessible, inclusive and experience-led for every type of traveller.

Creator-led discovery is increasingly shaping how travellers plan and book their holidays. According to Klook’s Travel Pulse 2026 Report, four in five travellers now book experiences influenced by content they discover on social media, reinforcing the growing role creators play in inspiring travel decisions.

Marcus Young, Vice-President, Global Marketing, Klook, said: “A single moment captured by a creator can quickly influence where and how people choose to explore. At Klook, we aim to spark joy in travel discovery by bridging creator-led inspiration with authentic experiences, making it easier for travellers to turn what they see online into memorable journeys they can book with just a few taps. Kreatorverse is designed to translate social-first inspiration into bookable travel moments, connecting authentic storytelling with seamless travel discovery on Klook. Over the last seven days, we were delighted to host an ensemble cast of 60 content creators, who demonstrated how authentic creator storytelling can bridge inspiration with action.”

Delhi-based content creator Harkirat Kaur Kukreja, who goes by @harkiratkukreja on Instagram, said Kreatorverse offers an excellent platform for content creator to exchange ideas.

“Over the last week, we interacted with a diverse set of content creators across geographies to exchange ideas and celebrate the spirit of travel with authentic story-telling. Klook is a must for family travel. I have been attached with the Klook family for the last four years and it has been a great experience,” said Harkirat.

Ankit Purohit, Japan-based Indian content creator, said: “Klook is incredibly convenient to use and offers a clear, user-friendly dashboard that helps creators understand their audience’s preferences. I personally use Klook for both planned and spontaneous travel, especially when I need to book last-minute tickets or activities. Having had consistently positive experiences with the platform, I confidently recommend it to my followers through my affiliate content and travel videos.

Shivam Tyagi, Marketing Lead Klook India and Middle East, said “Travel today is driven as much by inspiration as it is by intent. They’re looking beyond destinations and focusing on the experiences that truly matter to them. At the same time, creators have become a trusted source of inspiration, influencing not just where people go, but what they choose to do once they’re there. According to Klook’s Travel Pulse 2026 Report, four in five travellers have booked activities inspired by content they discovered on social media. That’s exactly what Kreatorverse is designed to enable—bridging the gap between inspiration and action, making it seamless for travellers to discover incredible moments through creators and book them instantly on Klook.”

The seven-day celebration culminated with Kreatorverse Gala Night at the Weil Hotel, Ipoh, that also saw a panel discussion with the creators on “AI, Creativity & Community: What’s Next?” moderated by Shivam Tyagi.

Other esteemed speakers included Min Quan Lee, Director, Business Development, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia, Klook, Mildred Ang, Director, Klook Social Commerce, Alicin Santhmayer, Marketing Manager, Klook IN & ME, and Naveed Pasha, Marketing Manager, Klook IN & ME. The Kreator Awards recognised creators for their creativity, storytelling, innovation and impact across multiple categories.

Klook’s Kreatorverse programme demonstrates how authentic creator storytelling inspires travel discovery and enables travellers to seamlessly book those experiences on the Klook platform. As travel discovery evolves, creators are no longer simply documenting destinations; they are helping shape where travellers go, what they experience and how they explore.
