Roseate House New Delhi’s fine dining restaurant Kheer is hosting an Amritsari food pop-up – Ambarsar, The Golden Griddle from 21st to 30th November. This soul-stirring culinary pop-up celebrates the heartfelt generosity and timeless flavours of Amritsar. More than an experience, it is a tribute to the spirit of Barkat – abundance, blessing and togetherness brought alive through dishes that honour the city’s golden culinary soul.
Curated by Chef Bharat Bhatia, the pop-up rekindles the magic of the traditional Chulha—the hearth that has warmed homes, united families and created food memories across generations. His culinary philosophy is guided by his mantra to go local, is shaped by precision, sustainability and deep respect for regional traditions. Having explored the vibrant food culture of Amritsar, he brings to this pop-up iconic dishes such as Lahori Gate ke Raam Ladoo, Ambarsari Khasta Kulcha, Ambarsari Bhatti Paneer, Tawa Kali Mirch Meat, Sigri Wala Kukkad, Sarsan-da-Saag, Ambarsari Machhli Masala, and Ghee Jaleba, translating age-old flavours into an elevated contemporary dining experience.
Each dish on the menu reflects an authentic story, crafted with nostalgia and rooted in tradition. Guests are invited into a resplendent dining setting that mirrors the warmth, vibrance, and soulful hospitality of the streets of Amritsar.
Designed by Noriyoshi Muramatsu of Studio Glitt (Tokyo, Japan), creator of all Zuma and Roka restaurant interiors globally, Kheer, a fine dining restaurant at Roseate House New Delhi, offers Indian cuisine with a modern edge. It greets its guests with chairs and sofas in vivid colours, lights from beautiful metallic lanterns, bells and solid wood tables, all of which have handcrafted Indian design. The restaurant entails a live tandoor kitchen, street food station, dining area, a mixology bar with a whiskey shelf, wine cellar, beer counter and a DJ deck with an exclusive lounge.
