New Delhi, May 2024: 818 Tequila has officially launched in India, distributed exclusively by Berry Beverages and imported into India by Berry Beverages and Zoup Beverages. The tequila, known for its smooth taste, sustainable practices, and craftsmanship, is now available in the Delhi NCR region and will continue with expansion across India.
818 Tequila’s outstanding flavor comes from utilizing traditional processes in a state-of-the-art distillery in Amatitán, Mexico. First, the agaves are slow-cooked for over 30 hours, then crushed using traditional large stone Tahona wheels. Next, the agaves undergo a 48-hour natural fermentation process before they are twice-distilled in alembic copper pot stills and then aged in French and American oak barrels for an unparalleled taste.
818 may signify the area code of Calabasas, California, but it calls the Earth its home. 818 is committed to operating a sustainable supply chain to help reduce their impact on the environment – their distillery runs on biomass and solar, their bottles are made from recycled glass, and their packaging is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council, ensuring that it comes from sustainably managed forests. 818 has also partnered with s.a.c.r.e.d. (Saving Agave for Culture, Recreation, Education, and Development) for an 818 Community Program in Mexico. This partnership takes the byproducts from tequila production and uses them to create usable building materials, such as bricks, to donate to community initiatives across Mexico.
818 Tequila can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or in delicious cocktails like a refreshing Pura Margarita with 818 Tequila Blanco, a delicious espresso martini with 818 Tequila Reposado, or a novel twist on an Old Fashioned with 818 Tequila Añejo. 818 Tequila also offers Eight Reserve: a premium añejo reserve blend that offers an unparalleled luxury expression.

The Blanco variation is priced at INR 7170 in Delhi, the Reposado variation is priced at INR 8160 in Delhi, and the Añejo is priced at INR 12,760 in Delhi. A bottle of the ultra-premium Eight Reserve is priced at INR 27,390 in Delhi.
