Each roadshow will feature destination presentations, promotional video screenings, and interactive sessions highlighting Karnataka’s diverse tourism circuits—from heritage towns and hill stations to wildlife sanctuaries and eco-tourism experiences.

Syama Raju, President of Karnataka Tourism Society, said “Karnataka offers an extraordinary year-round tourism experience, with globally recognized attractions such as UNESCO World Heritage Sites, pristine beaches, lush forests, and vibrant wildlife. Through this roadshow series, we aim to catalyze domestic inbound travel and strengthen Karnataka’s visibility among the travel trade in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. It’s a strategic step to deepen regional partnerships and showcase the state’s unmatched tourism potential.”

Venkatesan, Regional Director (South), Indiatourism Chennai, said “With its diverse portfolio of tourism products, Karnataka is rapidly emerging as one of the most dynamic states for both leisure and business travel. Domestic tourism remains the backbone of our tourism economy, and initiatives like these roadshows are vital to unlocking its full potential. The initiative seeks to enhance inter-state tourism cooperation and strengthen domestic tourism promotion under the ‘Dekho Apna Desh’ campaign of the Ministry of Tourism. These roadshows offer an excellent platform for stakeholders to reconnect with the travel trade and engage meaningfully with prospective tourists.”

Representatives from KTS will engage directly with state tourism officials, travel company owners, and tour operators to foster regional partnerships and unlock new business opportunities.

In the next phase, KTS plans to expand this campaign to state capitals and Tier-2 cities across Central India, further strengthening Karnataka’s national tourism footprint and trade engagement.
