Kamats Legacy is set to celebrate the Festival of Lights with a delectable twist. The brand has announced the launch of its special ‘South Wali Diwali’ menu, available from October 17 to October 23, 2025, across all Kamats Legacy outlets in Vashi, Malad, Nariman Point, and Mira Road.

Infusing the festive cheer of Diwali with the comfort and creativity of South Indian flavours, the all-new menu features a thoughtful blend of traditional and contemporary dishes. Guests can look forward to 39 indulgent yet wholesome creations such as Ragi and Rava variations in idlis and dosas, innovative Yam Fries with multiple flavor options, and nutritious choices like Parappu Vada and Mushroom Fry. The Rice Basket now features Tamarind and Lemon Rice, while mains include Guntur Soya Curry and Balekayi Kayirasa. A dedicated Child Menu offers fun items like Southizza, Cheesy Benne Dosa, and combo meals. Kamat’s Legacy Specials showcase Thenga Chammanthi with Rice and Iddistew, alongside expanded Jain Speciality options.

Speaking on the announcement, Dr Vikram Kamat, Founder and Chairman of Vikram Kamats Hospitality Limited, shared, “At Kamats Legacy, we believe every festival is an opportunity to celebrate food, family, and togetherness. This year, we wanted to give Diwali a refreshing southern touch: a way to honour India’s diverse culinary spirit while keeping the warmth of tradition intact. Food has always been at the centre of our celebrations.”

Pankaj Deokar, Vice President – Operations, Kamat’s Legacy, expressed his gratitude on the unveil, sharing, “This festive menu is our way of offering guests something memorable, and that is a Diwali that tastes familiar, yet feels delightfully new. It’s a reminder that innovation and tradition can beautifully coexist on the same plate. ‘South Wali Diwali’ is about experiencing familiar festivities through new flavours, while staying true to our ethos of purity, hygiene, and heart.”

Known for its authentic South Indian dining experience and premium vegetarian offerings, Kamats Legacy has become synonymous with serving comfort on a banana leaf, blending nostalgia with innovation. The ‘South Wali Diwali’ menu continues that legacy, offering guests a festive journey through taste, colour, and creativity, all crafted with signature Kamats’ attention to quality and freshness.

The initiative also showcases Kamats Legacy’s growing presence in Mumbai’s culinary scene, where it continues to draw guests who seek both authenticity and adventure in their dining choices. The ‘South Wali Diwali’ menu will be available for dine-in guests at Kamats Legacy outlets in Vashi, Malad, Nariman Point, and Mira Road between October 17 and October 23, 2025.
