JW Marriott New Delhi Aerocity announces the appointment of Himanshu Kala as its new Director of Rooms. Bringing over 13 years of hospitality experience across luxury, business, boutique luxury, and MICE hotels, Himanshu joins the hotel with a strong track record in operational excellence and guest experience leadership. Prior to this role, he was associated with Bengaluru Marriott Hotel Whitefield as Director of Rooms, where he played a key role in leading Rooms Division operations for the 520-key hotel and successfully supported its expansion journey.

Over the years, Himanshu has built a reputation for being a hands-on leader who believes in leading by example and creating high-performing teams through collaboration and trust. This marks his third assignment as Director of Rooms, following successful tenures at Hyatt Regency Kolkata and Bengaluru Marriott Whitefield.

Known for his hands-on and inclusive approach, Himanshu believes in leading by example and creating an environment where teams feel empowered and valued. His calm and composed leadership style, especially in high-pressure situations, has earned him recognition across the industry.

Speaking on the appointment, Vishal Singh, General Manager, JW Marriott New Delhi Aerocity, said, “We are pleased to welcome Himanshu to the JW Marriott New Delhi Aerocity family. His operational expertise, collaborative leadership style, and passion for guest experience make him a valuable addition to the team. We look forward to his contribution in further strengthening our Rooms Division operations and enhancing the overall guest journey at the hotel.”

Originally from Uttarakhand and a graduate of the Institute of Hotel Management Chennai, Himanshu draws inspiration from Ratan Tata and brings with him a leadership philosophy rooted in humility, resilience, and teamwork. Outside of work, he enjoys fitness and long bike rides.

In his new role, Himanshu will oversee all aspects of the Rooms Division, continuing the hotel’s focus on intuitive luxury and exceptional hospitality experiences.
