As experiential travel continues to shape the choices of modern luxury travellers, Easter 2026 at JOALI Maldives invites guests to step into a world where art, nature and celebration intertwine seamlessly. “Painted in Spring”, the island’s Easter programme, transforms the resort into a whimsical wonderland, celebrating the grace of new beginnings and encouraging little ones to step into a world where imagination leads the way.

Unfolding from 1–10 April 2026, the Easter and spring celebrations transform the resort into a living canvas inspired by the enduring artistic legacy of Claude Monet.

Framed by the natural beauty of the Maldives, the celebration brings together curated culinary experiences, immersive art workshops, wellness rituals and joyful family activities, creating a springtime escape that celebrates renewal, creativity and connection.

Drawing inspiration from the colours and textures of spring, the island will transform into a space where creativity flourishes. Guests can explore artistic experiences such as Fluid Art sessions, where vibrant colours are poured and swirled to create unique keepsakes, or craft their own souvenirs by learning hand-building techniques to shape and paint personalised ceramics during the Ceramic Bunny Cup workshop. Sustainability also finds expression through creativity with Bottles Reborn, an upcycling activity that transforms discarded glass bottles into decorative vases or butterfly sanctuaries.

Dining will be at the heart of the celebration with a series of curated gastronomic experiences like an exclusive gourmet dinner by visiting chef Alex Dilling, who is set to bring flavours from his two-Michelin-star London restaurant to the Maldivian island. The evening will showcase innovative dishes that merge French culinary roots with contemporary finesse, paired with carefully selected wines.

    Other culinary experiences include:

    • Spring Sensation: Joyful Easter Feast, celebrating seasonal abundance through a blend of heritage Easter favourites and signature JOALI creations
    • Sushi by the Sea, a relaxed beachfront lunch featuring freshly prepared maki, nigiri and more
    • La Dolce Vita: Old World Wine Dinner, a five-course dining experience paired with classic vintage European wines
    • World on a Plate: Street Market, an alfresco evening under the Maldivian stars showcasing live cooking stations and global flavours

On Easter Sunday, travellers can opt for a New Dawn: Easter Breakfast, where guests gather for a global gourmet spread accompanied by freshly prepared Bloody Marys.

For those seeking renewal and balance, the programme incorporates moments of mindfulness and movement. Open Heart: Gratitude Meditation is designed to cultivate reflection and appreciation, and a Cacao Ceremony rooted in ancient traditions, aimed to nurture clarity and emotional harmony. Movement-focused experiences include Aerial Yoga, blending yoga with acrobatic suspension techniques, and Yin Yoga, a slow-paced practice encouraging relaxation and balance. Adventurous guests can also embrace the ocean through activities such as eFoil surfing, offering the sensation of flying above the water on electric boards, or partake in adrenaline-pumping jet ski rides across the lagoon.

For younger guests, Muramas Kids Club at JOALI Maldives transforms into a whimsical Easter playground filled with pure excitement and thrilling escapades. Children can join the Bunny Trail Carrot Hunt, participate in an Easter Egg Hunt with family, or unleash their creativity with Easter egg painting and rainbow doodle decoration workshops. Interactive experiences like Junior Mixology, Family Water Battles, and Pirates of JOALI Treasure Hunt keep the excitement going throughout the day. Evenings bring magical moments such as beach movie nights under the stars, stargazing sessions with the resort’s Resident Astronomer, and a playful pyjama slumber party for young travellers.

Beyond the curated experiences, the celebration is designed to foster connection between guests and the island’s vibrant community. With art, gastronomy, wellness and family adventure at its heart, Painted in Spring offers a thoughtfully curated Easter celebration where every moment becomes part of a colourful island story.
