Eros Hotel hosts Iranian food festival, an exquisite blend of Indo-Iranian gastronomy
New Delhi, December 14, 2024: Eros Hotel New Delhi, in collaboration with the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Iran Culture House, and CD Foundation, proudly presents the exclusive Iranian Food Festival from 11th to 17th December 2024. Bringing the vibrant hues of Persian culture from the heart of Iran to the capital, this festival offers Delhi’s food lovers an exquisite blend of gastronomy, tradition, and the spirit of Indo-Iranian camaraderie.
For the next seven mesmerizing days, masterful Iranian chefs will craft and present an exquisite array of authentic Iranian delicacies. Each day’s Featured Dish highlights the distinctive flavors and culinary traditions of different regions of Iran, taking guests on a captivating journey through the country’s rich gastronomic tapestry. This celebration promises an unforgettable feast for the senses, bringing the essence of Iran’s diverse culinary heritage to life.
The festival began with ‘Coffee Morning with the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran’ an exclusive event focused on tourism and trade promotion. On 12th December, the much-hyped final round of the Iranian Food Competition and Workshop will take place and on 16th December, a colorful Indo-Iranian Cultural Show, will be hosted followed by a grand Iranian dinner.
The ambiance at Blooms Restaurant and other event venues has been transformed with breathtaking Iranian décor. Rich, vibrant adornments are set to take the guests to the heart of Iran, enveloping them in the culture and spirit of this remarkable land. Traditional elements infuse each space with charm, creating the perfect setting for an enchanting and memorable celebration.

The festival is an opportunity to relish the Shirazi Salad, a refreshing medley of cucumber, onion, and tomatoes seasoned with salt and black pepper, to Ash Reshteh, a robust noodle soup enriched with chickpeas and kidney beans, with delicacies like Gheimeh, a Persian lamb stew infused with split chickpeas, tomatoes, and cinnamon and the herbaceous Kuku Sabzi, a medley of fresh greens, and Korshet-e-Bademjan, a velvety eggplant and tomato stew. For seven days, enjoy different sweets like Rhubarb Rose and Pistachio Trifle Pots, Soleh-Zard, Tahini Cinnamon Swirls and Tahini Chocolate Marmar Cake.
