International flights start operating under air bubbles arrangement

While the schedule of international passenger flights continue to remained suspended thanks to the corona virus pandemic that shook the world , the Ministry of Home affairs , however has issued guidelines to operate international flights under certain restrictions for countries under ‘ air bubble’ arrangements.
An air bubble is a bilateral arrangement with a set of regulations and restrictions in which the carriers of the two countries can operate international flights. The air bubbles arrangement between the two countries helps airlines to operate international flights with certain restrictions.
Apart from the seven countries with which India has established air bubble arrangements , like US, UK, France, Germany, UAE, Qatar and the Maldives the civil aviation ministry is in talks with 13 other countries at this moment for the movement of flights under bilateral air bubbles .The countries include Australia, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Nigeria, Bahrain, Israel, Kenya, Philippines, Russia, Singapore, South Korea & Thailand.
