The Embassy of India in Ankara, in collaboration with the Consulate General of India in Istanbul, will host “India Days in Türkiye” on 17 October 2025 at The Marmara Hotel, Taksim, Istanbul. This landmark event will showcase India as one of the world’s most captivating destinations, celebrated for its rich history, vibrant culture, and remarkable diversity.
From the iconic Taj Mahal and majestic palaces of Rajasthan to the tranquil backwaters of Kerala and the towering Himalayas, India offers an extraordinary tapestry of experiences. Its world-renowned cuisine, colourful festivals, and legendary hospitality make it an unforgettable destination for travellers and investors alike.
“India Days in Türkiye” is designed to illuminate India’s magnificent cultural heritage, showcase its premier tourism circuits, and highlight its rapidly expanding business landscape. The programme will open with an address by H.E. Shri Muktesh K. Pardeshi, Ambassador of India to Türkiye, followed by presentations from distinguished speakers exploring India’s dynamic tourism, trade, and investment opportunities across four key themes: Heritage, Wildlife, Wellness, and Spirituality. A cornerstone of the event is dedicated B2B networking between Indian and Turkish business leaders, creating pathways for collaboration and investment. Participants will benefit from curated meetings, exhibition booths by tour operators, and a visa assistance desk—all designed to facilitate meaningful commercial engagement.
Set against a festive Diwali theme, the event will feature live Indian food counters, cultural exhibitions, and interactive displays that bring India’s diversity to life. This vibrant atmosphere seamlessly blends celebration with commerce, offering attendees an authentic taste of India’s spirit. By uniting tourism stakeholders, entrepreneurs, and cultural representatives from both nations, “India Days in Türkiye” reinforces the growing partnership between India and Türkiye. The event serves as both a tribute to India’s timeless legacy and a gateway to new horizons in trade, tourism, and cultural exchange.
