India Assist, a Delhi-based travel assistance provider, has entered into a strategic partnership with UAE authorities to extend its services to international travelers. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will facilitate the launch of UAE Assist, a new initiative offering real-time support to visitors entering the country.
The collaboration comes as the UAE prepares to welcome an estimated 40 million travelers in the coming years. Under the agreement, UAE visa holders will gain access to immediate assistance, including emergency support, travel advisories, and on-ground aid. The service aims to address common challenges faced by tourists, such as language barriers, medical emergencies, and logistical hurdles.
Harish Khatri, Founder and Managing Director of India Assist, highlighted the operational significance of the expansion. “This partnership allows us to adapt our existing assistance framework to a new market,” he said. “The focus remains on providing timely solutions to travelers who may require urgent support during their stay.”
The company has previously managed large-scale events in India, including the Maha Kumbh and MotoGP, where its real-time coordination systems were deployed to assist attendees. Its transition into international markets follows growing demand for travel safety solutions post-pandemic.
Industry analysts note that the UAE’s tourism sector has seen a 27% year-on-year increase in visitor numbers, with India remaining one of its largest source markets. The new assistance program could influence how destination countries integrate traveler support systems with immigration processes.
India Assist utilizes a hybrid model combining AI-driven response mechanisms with human-operated ground teams. The UAE rollout will test the scalability of this approach in a market with diverse visitor demographics, including business travelers, tourists, and transit passengers.
The company has not disclosed financial terms of the MoU but confirmed operational testing will begin in Dubai and Abu Dhabi before expanding to other emirates. Aviation experts suggest such traveler assistance programs may become more common as destinations compete on safety and convenience metrics.
With this move, India Assist joins a limited group of regional travel tech firms operating across international borders. Observers will monitor how the model performs in comparison to global travel assistance providers already active in the Middle East.
The UAE partnership represents India Assist’s first overseas deployment since its founding in 2018. Industry sources indicate additional Asian and European markets are under consideration for similar implementations in 2025.
