    Hyatt Regency Dehradun Resort and Spa announces the appointment of Amit Chawla as Director of Operations, bringing with him over 22 years of extensive experience in hospitality operations, team leadership, and hotel openings across leading luxury and upscale brands.

    Amit joins from Hyatt Regency Delhi, where he served as Director of Food & Beverage, overseeing a wide portfolio of dining outlets, in-room dining operations for 480 rooms, large-scale banquet functions, and outdoor catering, supported by a team of over 200 associates. His role demanded strong operational oversight, service consistency, and financial discipline across high-volume environments.

    A defining strength of Amit’s career has been his involvement in multiple hotel openings and large-scale operational readiness. He has played a key role in building food and beverage frameworks, training teams from the ground up, and establishing service benchmarks to ensure seamless guest experiences from day one. His professional journey spans reputed hospitality brands, including Marriott, Carlson, IHG, and Jaypee Palace, along with several pre-opening and transition projects.

    Across his leadership roles, Amit has successfully managed complex operations involving multiple dining outlets and expansive banquet facilities, balancing elevated guest expectations with operational efficiency. His contributions have been recognized through various internal and industry accolades, reflecting his consistent performance, people-first leadership style, and focus on service excellence.

    Amit is a graduate of the Hotel Management Institute, Lucknow, and has built his career across diverse markets and operational scales. At Hyatt Regency Dehradun Resort and Spa, he will leverage his depth of experience to strengthen day-to-day operations, support cross-functional teams, and contribute to the resort’s long-term growth while enhancing overall guest experiences.
