Chandigarh, 18th October 2022 – Maulina Gupta brings over two decades of experience in the hospitality and service industry having worked with renowned brands in diverse leadership roles.

Recognised as a dynamic catalyst when it comes to driving sales, leading marketing functions and running efficient operations with a focus on profitability, she always maintains a strong and optimistic outlook with a penchant for learning and leading by example. With 23 years of success in delivering end-to-end business solutions, revenue expansion and market positioning has placed her in a great space to lead teams and businesses across service industries.

Building a strong career in hospitality was an imminent choice after her Post Graduate Diploma in Hotel Administration & Development with the Taj Group of Hotels which she did after completing her graduation in Science. Owing to her father’s successful career in the Indian Navy, she grew up learning about diverse cultures and traditions as she moved around the country and abroad with her family. This opportunity instilled a sense of adventure and adaptability in her which drives her passion for people and places even now.

Maulina started her career with IHCL (Taj Hotels) and worked across several distinguished hotels over a span of six years. She joined the Hyatt family in 2006 at the flagship Hyatt Regency Delhi property, post which she advanced to the pre‐opening team at the Hyatt Regency Gurgaon in 2012. In 2014, Maulina took charge at the Hyatt Place Gurgaon as General Manager post and she joined the pre-opening team at the multi-dimensional Grand Hyatt Gurgaon.

Maulina is currently leading the newly launched Hyatt Centric Hotel in Chandigarh, Sector 17 as its General Manager.

Outside of work, Maulina has aced the art of balancing work and life and ensures that she spends quality time with her parents and son – who she believes are her anchors. She has a keen interest in creative arts and spends weekends immersing herself in creating art, inspired by everyday living.
