With a rich and versatile array of experience in the hospitality industry spanning over two decades, Amit Kapoor brings with him an expertise to Hyatt Centric Chandigarh Sector 17 as the F&B Manager. Having completed his Bachelors in Hotel Management from Mangalore University, he was looking to explore more avenues and took a leap of faith and started working in the world of hospitality. Over the course of the last two decades, he has worked with several esteemed brands like Jaypee Palace Hotel Agra, ITC Grand Maratha Sheraton Mumbai, Grand Hyatt Dubai, Sofitel Jumeirah Beach, Dubai, Courtyard by Marriott, Gurugram Downtown and Hyatt Pune.

He feels proud to be a member of the Hyatt community as he believes in the heartfelt service offered by the brand and how it caters to the needs of people by believing in them as it is rightly reflected in the brand promise as well- “We care for people so they can be their best”. His mission is to build Hyatt Centric Chandigarh’s reputation for offering first-class guest experiences and services to anyone who comes through our doors – whether they’re stopping by for a coffee, attending a conference or bringing the family for a relaxing stay.

Amit perceives Chandigarh to be a quintessential city that represents modern India. “It’s one of the most well planned, modern, safe and clean cities of the country to stay in”. He also takes immense pleasure in contributing to setting up systems and procedures for the launch of the first  and biggest lifestyle hotel in Chandigarh.

In his free time, Amit enjoys going for long road trips, playing table tennis and exploring new places that indulge his curiosity.
