Mumbai’s nightlife scene gets a bold new addition as House of Pleo opens its doors in Powai, bringing signature cocktails, elevated bar bites, and high-energy evenings under the stars. Founded by hospitality entrepreneur Nirmal Patel, House of Pleo is designed as an urban rooftop escape where handcrafted drinks, music, and food converge to create a destination that truly comes alive after sunset. With its open-air setting, cabana seating, and DJ-led nights, the venue caters to Powai’s growing community of young professionals and social diners seeking a premium yet vibrant space to unwind, celebrate, and connect.

At the heart of House of Pleo is its bar program, featuring inventive signature cocktails that go beyond the ordinary. Standouts include the Pleo Reign, where tequila meets vodka with absinthe and capsicum edge, and the Yuzu Skydrop, a dreamy blend of apricot purée, agave, and gin lifted by refreshing yuzu. The Sunset Drift combines dark rum with glowing red fruit notes, while Evening Ember brings together malted barley, wheat, hops, and Italian limes with agave for a brew-inspired twist. For something playfully nostalgic, the bar’s alcoholic Golas add a distinctly House of Pleo touch to the cocktail experience.

Complementing the drinks is a menu crafted by Chef Hitendra Gaikwad, whose 20 years of culinary expertise shine through bold, shareable plates. The food spans Indian bar-style chakna like Chana Jor Garam and Masala Papad, wood-fired pizzas with inventive toppings, and tandoor and grill selections including Chicken Yakitori and Dakshin Prawns. From Truffle Cheese Pops to Korean Dragon Prawns, Mediterranean-inspired dishes, and Continental fare, the menu balances comfort with creativity, perfect for pairing with cocktails and group dining.

“House of Pleo was created as a space where people can come together over great cocktails, good food, and music without having to leave the neighborhood. Powai felt like the perfect place to bring this rooftop experience to life, and we’re excited to introduce a destination that truly comes alive after sunset,” shares Nirmal Patel.

Whether it’s post-work drinks, weekend celebrations, or simply an evening under the Powai sky, this rooftop destination promises an experience worth staying out for.
