    New Delhi, April 24, 2024: With rising temperatures and hotter days forecast, any efforts made to beating the summer may seem vain. You may feel like there is no respite from the heat, but nothing would be further from the truth. The Himalayas offer you a chance to get away not only from the hustle and bustle of everyday life/ With the Himalayan Bounty set to occur in May 2024, it gives room for profound relief to those looking for a quick cool getaway from the untempered heat and simmering summer. Celebrating the Himalayan spirit and contributing to a greater cause, each event is a carefully woven tapestry of gastronomy, music, and art, designed not only to entertain but also to impact the lives of the mountain people significantly.

    Organized by Ashish Verma, the event aims to highlight the indigenous flavors and traditions of the mountains, the event is inspired by local farming practices and the diverse local cuisine. The event will witness participation from renowned chefs across India, like Chef Avinash Martins, Chef Nilza Wangmo, and Baker Keith Goyden, who will be joining hands with the local communities and participating in a range of activities that include birding, butterfly workshops, trail runs, and film screenings. The event will culminate with a grand feast cooked with the villagers, embodying the land’s flavors and the people’s resilience.

    The week-long event that is scheduled to take place from 19th May 2024 till 26th May 2024 in Munsiyari, Uttarakhand and will commence with two runs of five and ten kilometers, followed by the Khalia Challenge Half Marathon, a birding and butterfly festival in addition to a mountain film screening after which the Mesar Van Kauti Mela will take place.

    Amount: INR 4,000/- per couple per day
