New Delhi, December 2024: With the temperature going down and winter here, a time when the taste buds of Delhi are seeking some unique, delicious, and tasty food, Hilton Garden Inn, New Delhi/Saket is ready to offer some delightful rich cultural and culinary heritage of Uttarakhand.

This winter immerse yourself in the fair of flavours from Garhwal & Kumaon, as Hilton Garden Inn, New Delhi/Saket brings to you the Uttarakhand Food Festival, Kauthig, from November 29th to December 8th, 2024 at the vibrant dining destination India Grill. It’s not just a food festival, but a celebration of the authentic, mountain-inspired flavors of Uttarakhand, offering a one-of-a-kind gastronomic adventure for food enthusiasts and culture seekers alike.

The festival showcases the rich flavors and traditional recipes of Garhwal and Kumaon, offering a true taste of the region’s lost recipes and mountain-inspired dishes, specially curated by Chef Prateek Agrawal. The specially curated menu includes regional delights like Bhatt ki Churkani, Pahadi Bhuna Mutton, and Jhangora Ki Kheer, served alongside a selection of homemade chutneys, aromatic rice, and more.

Renowned for his expertise in regional Indian cuisine, Chef Prateek Agrawal shares his excitement about bringing the essence of Uttarakhand to Delhi. “The cuisine of Garhwal and Kumaon is as diverse as the landscapes of the region itself. At Kauthig, we’re proud to present a blend of forgotten recipes and authentic dishes, made with love and steeped in tradition. I’m thrilled to share these flavors with our guests and offer them an experience that will transport them to the Himalayan foothills,” says Chef Agrawal.

In addition to the delectable food offerings, Operations Manager Abhishek Kukreti highlights the significance of the festival for both the hotel and its guests. “We are excited to host this festival and bring a taste of Uttarakhand’s culture, tradition, and flavors to the heart of Delhi. At Hilton Garden Inn Saket, we believe in bringing unique and authentic experiences to our guests. Kauthig in Uttarakhand means festival – we have created a festival of flavours. We will do a series of festivals on lost recipes of India beginning with Uttarakhand as of now,” adds Abhishek Kukreti.
