Panaji, 20th February 2023: Similar to the last two days, the third day highlights of the Goa Carnaval was mostly dedicated to showcasing Goan culture. The day also witnessed a huge crowd. Everything from traditional dances, lifestyle, and costume parades to Goan cuisine was a reflection of the state’s spectacular celebrations. Hon. Minister for Transport and MLA of Dabolim Constituency, Shri Mauvin Godinho, flagged off the ceremony in the presence of MLA of Vasco Constituency, Shri Krishna (Daji) Salkar, and Chairman of Vasco Carnaval Committee, Shri Leo Rodrigues along with other respected dignitaries.

The Intruz was decorated with dances, parades, and feasts where participants in the parade grooved to the ongoing music. Together with his eclectic group of musicians and dancers, King Momo travelled to Vasco with his queen and the crowd cheered in joy. The absence of plastic and firecrackers was another noteworthy highlight of Goa’s third-day Goa Carnaval.
