Kolkata, July 12, 2024 – Goa Tourism’s pavilion at the Travel and Tourism Fair (TTF) in Kolkata has been a resounding success, immersing visitors in the state’s diverse tourism offerings.
The Goa Tourism delegation, led by Mr. Deepak Narvekar, Deputy General Manager of GTDC, and Mr. Sudatt Kambli, Information Assistant from the Department of Tourism, aimed to showcase Goa’s unique attractions and promote the state on a global scale.
“Our participation in TTF Kolkata 2024 got off to a remarkable start, allowing visitors to experience and learn more about Goa and the various attractive offers the state has for people around the world,” said Mr. Narvekar.
The Goa Tourism Pavilion featured interactive exhibits and engaging discussions on Holidays in Goa, Regenerative Tourism, and the Ekadasha Teertha Circuit, highlighting the state’s commitment to sustainable tourism and the harmonious relationship between tourism and the environment.

“The Department of Tourism not only prioritizes conservation but also actively seeks to revitalize and enhance natural and cultural assets, fostering the well-being of local communities,” added Mr. Narvekar.
The first day of the event garnered a positive response from visitors, who were impressed by Goa’s commitment to sustainable tourism practices.
The TTF, India’s oldest and largest travel trade show network, was held at the Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan in Kolkata, providing a platform for Goa Tourism to reach a wider audience and attract travelers from across the country and beyond.
