Bengaluru, July’23: From sundowners on the 21st-floor terrace to late-night rounds of artisanal cocktails, Copitas at Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru has always been an Asian favourite. The bar has now earned placement as Icons of Gin 2023 – Bar of the Year – Highly Commended. Now in their 22nd edition internationally, the popular Icons of Whisky Awards & Icons of Gin Awards are organized by the premier international beverage publication Whisky Magazine in association with Spiritual Luxury Living India (SLL) and are the only international beverage awards in India. The awards are a celebration of the years of hard work that goes into every bottle. From the distillers themselves and brand ambassadors to visitor centre managers, bars, bartenders and the industry’s communicators – a great deal of craftsmanship, skill and knowledge are imparted at each stage of the process. The awards were established to acknowledge individuals and producers for their dedication to each innovative release, visitor experience or expert retail service, delivered in a tireless fashion. The awards are first presented regionally; in America, Australia, China, India, Ireland, Scotland and Rest of the World.

Those successful within their region then compete for the global title. An extensive process is followed to determine winners across categories. Bars, businesses, brands and people are evaluated through detailed nominations, entries, consumer interviews and research, consultation with industry experts, and audited experiences at nominated bars and brands before the final decision is made by an international jury.
