Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru announces the launch of The Legacy of the Peking Duck, an exclusive dining experience at Far & East that traces six centuries of imperial culinary tradition through the lens of contemporary gastronomy. Available until 15th June 2026, this limited engagement positions the hotel as a definitive destination for discerning epicureans seeking authenticity, artistry, and cultural immersion.

Under the direction of celebrated Chinese Chef Wong Chin Sheong, the showcase resurrects techniques born in the guarded kitchens of the Ming Dynasty and refined through generations of Cantonese mastery. At its ceremonial core lies The Master’s Carve, a tableside ritual wherein Chef Wong unveils the coveted “Lacquered Gold” finish, an amber-glazed skin of extraordinary translucence and delicate crispness achieved through centuries-old roasting methods.

Biswajit Chakraborty, General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru, remarks, “The Legacy of the Peking Duck exemplifies our commitment to presenting the world’s great culinary traditions with the sophistication and attention to detail our guests expect. Chef Wong’s mastery transforms dining into an experience that nourishes not only the palate but the imagination.”

The menu traverses China’s diverse culinary geography with reverence and imagination. The Beijing-style Peking Duck arrives with handcrafted pancakes and signature plum reduction, while the Cantonese interpretation introduces black truffle and garlic for aromatic depth. The Sichuan Aromatic Crispy Sesame Duck delivers a study in texture, perfectly crisp texture finished with toasted sesame and rich hoisin.

Artisanal accompaniments extend the narrative: hand-pleated Duck Potstickers honour northern Chinese tradition, while the Peking Duck Sushi Roll bridges Eastern dynasties with Japanese precision. Wok-kissed Golden Glass Noodles and Truffle Duck Fried Rice with wild mushrooms complete this journey through heritage and innovation.

The Legacy of the Peking Duck is available for lunch and dinner at Far & East through 15th June 2026.
