New Delhi – This October, Delhi food lovers are in for a treat as JW Marriott Hotel New Delhi Aerocity presents a hearty celebration of Punjabi flavors with Flavors of Punjab — a five-day culinary festival curated by the celebrated Chef Sherry Mehta. From October 8th to 12th, 2025, the hotel’s signature restaurant, K3 – New Delhi’s Food Theatre, will transform into a vibrant slice of Punjab, offering an immersive dining experience steeped in tradition, nostalgia, and bold flavors.

    A Taste of Punjab’s Heritage
Renowned for her ability to tell stories through food, Chef Sherry Mehta promises to bring the soul and warmth of Punjab to the table. Guests can expect an indulgent spread showcasing the agricultural abundance and festive spirit of this culturally rich land — from smoky tandoori specials to hearty curries and decadent desserts.

    Festival highlights will include:
✨ Kunna Gosht – Slow-cooked mutton in rich, aromatic spices.
✨ Chilkar Chole– A comforting chickpea preparation with rustic charm.
✨ Chapli Kebab & Chicken Malai Boti – Fresh off the tandoor at live cooking stations.
✨ Lassi Bar– Rose, kesar-pista, and mango varieties in traditional kullhads.
✨ Amritsari Kulfa & Jalebi with Rabri – Dessert heaven for those with a sweet tooth.

“Through Flavors of Punjab, I want guests to feel the warmth of a Punjabi home, the vibrancy of its streets, and the richness of its culinary traditions,” says Chef Sherry Mehta.

    An Immersive Punjabi Experience
The ambiance at K3 will mirror a bustling Punjabi village — complete with charpais, clay pots, mustard field backdrops, and photo installations featuring the Golden Temple and lively dhaba scenes. Guests will be welcomed with a refreshing sip of kaanji or lassi, setting the tone for an evening steeped in Punjabi hospitality.

Adding to the festive feel, live Punjabi folk music with dhol, tumbi, and algoza will create a rhythmic atmosphere, while energetic Giddha and Bhangra performances will animate select evenings .

“Experiences like Flavors of Punjab celebrate India’s culinary diversity. Chef Sherry’s soulful approach brings authenticity and heart to every plate,” says Sharad Datta, General Manager, JW Marriott New Delhi Aerocity.
