The Federation of Hotel and Restaurant Associations of India (FHRAI) and the Hotel and Restaurant Association of Northern India (HRANI) will host the “Viksit Delhi – Viksit Tourism & Hospitality” Summit on December 10, 2025, at Le Meridien, New Delhi.

The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Delhi, Rekha Gupta, will grace the event as the Chief Guest. The summit aims to support the vision of a Viksit Delhi by positioning tourism and hospitality as key drivers of growth. It will also acknowledge the Delhi Government’s progressive initiatives that have improved the ease of doing business and encouraged investment in the capital.

The event will bring together policymakers, industry leaders, tourism stakeholders, and experts to discuss Delhi’s potential as a world-class tourism and hospitality hub. Key sessions will focus on destination development, branding, investment opportunities, and policy reforms to further strengthen the sector’s business environment.

The programme will feature presentations on ongoing initiatives and a panel discussion titled “Branding Delhi for Growth Opportunities,” with participation from the tourism authority, academia, skill development organisations, urban bodies, industry, and the travel trade. The Delhi Edition of the Awards of Excellence will also be presented to honour outstanding contributors to the tourism sector.

Surendra Jaiswal, President of FHRAI, said, “Delhi has all the ingredients to emerge as one of the world’s leading tourism and hospitality destinations. The government’s focus on ease of doing business has created strong momentum. This summit will help align priorities and accelerate Delhi’s growth story.”

He added, “Delhi is often called the heart of the nation. It carries a rich and diverse heritage shaped over centuries while embracing the energy of a modern metropolis. The summit will explore ways to strengthen tourism and highlight hospitality’s role in sustaining long-term growth in the National Capital.”
