    Fairmont Mumbai Hosts South Side Supper with Supper Club

    Supper Club Mumbai, along with Fairmont Mumbai, successfully hosted an exclusive and immersive dining experience on 15th July 2026 at The Merchants Fairmount Mumbai. ‘South Side Supper’, bringing together food enthusiasts for an evening rooted in the rich culinary traditions of South India.

    The evening began on a soulful note with live traditional cultural music, setting an authentic tone and transporting guests to the heart of South India. With an intimate gathering of 30 guests, the experience was thoughtfully curated to ensure a personal and engaging atmosphere.

    Following the musical opening, Chef Rajshri Gupta took center stage to introduce the philosophy behind the menu, offering insights into the ingredients, regional influences, and stories that inspired the dishes. Guests were then invited to indulge in a specially curated spread served on banana leaves, staying true to traditional dining customs.

    The menu featured a vibrant mix of flavors, including Patrode, Mavinakayi Uppinkayi, Raw Jackfruit Sukkah, Beans Palya, Koli Saaru, and Akki Roti, culminating in indulgent desserts like Dal Payasam—each dish reflecting authenticity and regional depth.

    Chef Rajshri,Founder and creator,The Supperclub Mumbai said: ‘South Side Supper’ was an attempt to bring the essence of South Indian home-style cooking to Mumbai in its most authentic form. From the way the food is served to the ingredients we use, every detail is rooted in tradition and nostalgia.”
