Evolve Back has unveiled a collector’s coffee table book documenting more than twenty years of artistic collaborations inspired by the landscapes, wildlife, heritage, and communities surrounding Evolve Back’s properties in India – Coorg, Kabini, and Hampi. The stories are conveyed in the form of photographs, videos, paintings, and narrative storytelling created by renowned photographers, artists, naturalists, and storytellers. Several stories featured in the book have also received prestigious international recognition.

The book was unveiled at a special gathering held at the Conrad Hotel in Bengaluru, where the first copies were presented to Evolve Back’s Independent Directors, Bhaskar Bhat (Trustee, Sir Dorabji Tata Trust and former Managing Director, Titan Company Ltd.) and Hari Marar (Managing Director and CEO of Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) in the presence of the board of Directors and members of the Ramapuram family.

As the Ramapuram family commemorates 100 years of its legacy in Karnataka, the collector’s coffee table book has been conceived as a tribute to Evolve Back’s destinations. It seeks to introduce the landscapes, biodiversity, heritage, and communities of Evolve Back’s destinations to travellers from India and across the world. Designed as a collector’s publication, the book is intended to serve as a lasting reference for art, wildlife, traditions, and culture.

A collector’s publication, the book has been designed to offer readers a peek into the landscapes, biodiversity, heritage, and communities of Evolve Back’s destinations through the eyes of the artists, photographers, naturalists, and storytellers who have documented them over the years.

Speaking at the occasion, Jose Ramapuram, Executive Director – Marketing, Evolve Back, said, “Hospitality has the privilege of introducing people to places, but it also carries the responsibility of helping preserve what makes those places unique. When the Ramapuram family’s journey in Karnataka began a hundred years ago, it was rooted in a deep appreciation for the land and its people. Over the past two decades, that philosophy has moved us to document the landscapes and the cultural memory that define the places we call home.”

“This book is a reflection of that commitment. It brings together years of artistic collaborations with photographers, filmmakers, artists, naturalists, and storytellers who have interpreted our destinations in their own unique ways. As we commemorate a century of the Ramapuram family’s association with Karnataka, we felt there could be no more meaningful tribute than celebrating the remarkable ecosystem that has shaped Evolve Back’s ‘Spirit of the Land’ philosophy and continues to inspire it every day,” he added.

The book will now become part of the guest experience across Evolve Back’s resorts, with copies placed in guest rooms to encourage travellers from India and around the world to engage more deeply with the stories behind our choices of Coorg, Kabini, and Hampi.
