EaseMyTrip , the online travel platform, commemorated its successful IPO journey with a special celebratory event at The Leela Palace in Delhi. The celebration was in recognition of EaseMyTrip exceptional growth, consistent performance and remarkable resilience across the whirlwinds of the pandemic. The event witnessed electrifying performances from Mika Singh, Shibani Kashyap and Jassi Jasbir, among others.

EaseMyTrip made its stock market debut on March 8 2021 by leveraging the company’s lean cost model and no convenience fee strategy. As per the official statement from the company , despite the pandemic and the subsequent effect on the travel industry, the company’s IPO launch was a huge success as it received a subscription of approximately 160 times in the IPO bidding window. As the travel industry is recovering from the pandemic , EaseMyTrip’s stock has risen multifold over the last 8 months since its debut to date.

Speaking on the occasion, Nishant Pitti, CEO and Co-Founder, EaseMyTrip said, “Being a listed firm has been a major milestone for the company, and we are delighted to celebrate the success of our IPO journey. We believe that we have a strong and sustainable model in the OTA business, and we have shown over time that we can grow and deliver profits consistently. Even when the headwinds of Covid-19 knocked down the industry, we showed the ability to deliver profitable results, and we intend to keep the company strong and profitable. We thank all our stakeholders in the industry for their continued support, and we are fully committed to generating more value for our investors, shareholders and customers.” EaseMyTrip recently reported a four-fold jump in net profit to Rs. 27.1 crores in Q2FY22. The company, which has been profitable since inception, provides its customers with the option of zero convenience fees during ticket booking.
