DoubleTree by Hilton Agra celebrated a star-studded Wedding Diaries

Agra, September 4, 2023: The “Wedding Diaries by Hilton” show held at DoubleTree by Hilton Agra on September 2nd marked a significant moment for Hilton India. The event was a star-studded affair, with the presence of renowned celebrities such as Shilpa Shetty, Mallika Arora, Sobhita Dhulipala, Diana Penty, and over 30 supermodels who graced the runway for some of India’s top designers. This event was curated by the DoubleTree by the Hilton Agra team and featured exclusive creations from four esteemed designers.

The event was considered one of the grandest wedding shows in recent memory, and it was a historic moment for Agra, known as the city of love and home to the iconic Taj Mahal, to host an event of such magnitude. Leading designers like Paulmi & Harsh, Gopi Vaid, Varun Behl, and Aslam Khan, along with DoubleTree by Hilton Agra, played a significant role in bringing the event to life

Shyam Kumar, the General Manager at DoubleTree by Hilton Agra, was instrumental in driving and curating the event. He expressed pride in the event’s success, stating that Agra had the privilege of witnessing luminaries from the fashion industry, along with top designers and supermodels.

The event also featured Shilpa Shetty and Malaika Arora, who showcased their elegance on the runway while wearing comfortable yet stylish footwear by Oroh Shoes and exquisite jewelry from AP Jewellers.

In addition to the fashion show, the event hosted a two-day wedding exhibition, showcasing premier wedding-related brands, including jewelry, bridal couture, footwear, and other wedding essentials. The exhibition aimed to provide a one-stop solution for all wedding shopping needs and received tremendous success.

On the second day of the event, a wedding conclave was organized in collaboration with the Uttar Pradesh Wedding Association, featuring prominent figures from the industry, including government officials and renowned names from the wedding business. The conclave included informative talk shows on various topics related to weddings and tourism.

The “Wedding Diaries by Hilton” event was supported by the Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department and aimed to position Agra as an exceptional destination for grand destination weddings, catering to large-scale weddings and events. Agra aspired to become the preferred choice for such celebrations.
