The hotel is teaming up with Chef Pin, a platform that connects diners and home chefs, to present an exclusive showcase of Himachali cuisine. This mouthwatering event will feature an authentic traditional Himachali feast called Dham.

Guests will have the opportunity to indulge in the rich and traditional flavors of Himachal Pradesh, thanks to guest Chef Roopesh Kanwar, who hails from the region. The Himachali Dham is a Saatvik vegetarian thali that holds great cultural significance in the area. It is prepared with utmost care and respect for its historical roots, symbolizing community bonding and celebration during weddings and other joyous ceremonies.

In Dham, each dish carries its own meaning and significance. For example, Madra is a yogurt-based dish that resonates with the locals as Chamba is famous for its milk and lentils. There is also Chana Dal made with Sauf, Telia Mah or Mash Ki Dal(prepared in mustard oil), Khatta prepared with Aamchur or Tamarind, Kadhi, and Mittha, all of which have slight variations depending on the region. The cuisine is entirely rice-based; no bread is served.

This exclusive dining experience will allow guests to savor the best offerings from Chef Roopesh Kanwar’s unique spread. Through his Himachali creations, they will get a taste of tradition, innovation, and exceptional flavors in one unforgettable experience.

Chef Kanwar’s special menu will be available for lunch and dinner buffets at Tamra from July 27 to 29, 2023. The lunch buffet is priced at INR 3,000 plus taxes, while the dinner buffet is priced at INR 3,200 plus taxes.
