Czech Tourism recently wrapped up its yearly Travel Trade Day, an event aimed at developing international partnerships and presenting the nation’s wealth of cultural and natural heritage. It ran from April 25 to 29, 2025, and was specifically created to enable successful collaborations between Czech suppliers and world travel industry professionals.
Beginning in Prague, participants discovered historic sites like Malá Strana, Kampa, and Charles Bridge, before traveling to North Moravia. There, they engaged with the industrial past and natural beauty of the area, visiting places like Dolní Vítkovice in Ostrava. A former center for coal mining and steelmaking, Dolní Vítkovice has become a thriving cultural hub, capped by the Bolt Tower that provides panoramic views of the city.
Along the way, visitors enjoyed traditional Czech sweets at Marlenka, which is famous for its honey cakes, and tasted authentic Czech lager at Radegast Brewery. Other regional gems were included in the program, giving a thorough insight into the cultural diversity and natural attractions of Czechia.
Mrs. Barbara Andelová, International Marketing Manager – New Markets at CzechTourism, stressed the success of the B2B workshop in Ostrava. It allowed direct contact between international travel agents and Czech suppliers, who discussed potential partnership opportunities, as well as current emerging trends in Czechia’s tourism market.
The Travel Trade Day 2025 highlighted Czechia’s dedication to the upgrade of international tourism connections through experiential insights and well-calibrated networking possibilities, enhancing its status as a leading destination for tourists interested in both cultural discovery and natural beauty.
