Cygnett Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of Cozzet Greater Noida, operating under Cygnett’s value brand, Cozzet, further strengthening the group’s presence in North India’s fast-growing business and institutional corridor.

Designed to cater to the business and short-stay traveller, Cozzet Greater Noida will offer 50 thoughtful rooms designed in a practical mix of comfort and functionality aligned with the brand’s philosophy of ‘Smart, Safe & Sensible’. The property will also feature 2,500 sq. ft. of banquet and meeting space, apt for corporate meetings, social functions, and small events, an all-day dining restaurant serving contemporary Indian flavours alongside popular global favourite and also a well-equipped fitness centre catering to the wellness needs of modern travellers.

Strategically located, the hotel is only 10 minutes away from Greater Noida Expo Mart and has easy access to the Noida–Greater Noida Expressway and Knowledge Park I, II, and III. This positions the property to attract corporate travellers, exhibitors, consultants, and professionals visiting Greater Noida for short- and mid-term business engagements.

On the signing of the agreement, Sarbendra Sarkar, Founder & Managing Director, Cygnett Hotels & Resorts, said, “The economy and value hotel sector remains a major growth generator in the Indian hospitality industry. Cozzet, our value hotel brand in Cygnett, aims to capitalize on the growing demand for favorably located and efficiently run hotels that can provide assured branded services at reasonable prices. The opening of Cozzet Greater Noida marks our push to follow a planned development strategy in various major business centers.”

Economy hotels, budget hotels, and value hotels combined constitute around 29% of the overall existing rooms in the Indian market, and midscale and economy segments combined lead the overall market share of existing rooms in the country, outperforming the luxury segment. This highlights the major role played by budget hotels. This underscores the pivotal role played by budget and value hospitality in India’s growth story. Aligned with this market reality, Cygnett Hotels & Resorts continues to strengthen its presence through the Cozzet brand, with upcoming hotels in key business and leisure destinations such as Ayodhya, Prayagraj, Amritsar, Hyderabad, and several other high-potential markets across the country.

The Indian economy hotel market is estimated to be close to USD 6 billion, underlining the growth and potential that is captured in the market. The addition of the Cozzet Greater Noida property has once again underlined Cygnett Hotels & Resorts’ commitment to enhancing its value brand in the high-demand locations in the country.
