Step into the splendour of imperial dining with “Kitchen of Mughals”, an exclusive food festival curated by Crowne Plaza Greater Noida at Spice Art. From 17th to 31st May 2025, guests are invited to indulge in an opulent Mughlai feast that revives the grandeur, aromas, and age-old recipes of the royal kitchens of the Mughal Empire.

Transforming the restaurant into a majestic Durbar, Spice Art will showcase the essence of heirloom culinary traditions, featuring slow-cooked delicacies, fragrant spices, and extravagant presentations once reserved for emperors and nobles.

Chef Vijay, the specialist behind the menu, says, “‘Kitchen of Mughals’ is a tribute to the culinary artistry of the Mughal era. Every dish tells a story — from the royal courts to the bylanes of Awadh and Delhi. We’ve revived age-old techniques and recipes that capture the indulgent soul of this cuisine.”

Guests can look forward to an exquisite selection of dishes, including:

    • Kakori Kebab – Ultra-soft, minced meat kebabs seasoned with spices and grilled to perfection.
    • Murgh Musallam – A centerpiece dish of whole chicken marinated in a royal blend of spices and slow-cooked in rich gravy.
    • Bohri Raan – A celebratory dish of spiced whole leg of lamb, tender and aromatic.
    • Mahi Qaliya – A regal fish preparation in a turmeric-infused yogurt sauce, traditionally served at royal weddings.
    • Badami Paneer Korma – A delicate vegetarian dish of paneer cooked in a creamy almond-based curry.
    • Muradabadi Gosht Biryani – Fragrant, slow-cooked mutton biryani, layered with saffron and whole spices.
    • Shahi Meetha – A traditional Mughal dessert made with saffron-soaked bread, dry fruits, and reduced milk.

Sharad K Upadhyay, General Manager, Crowne Plaza Greater Noida, adds, “At Crowne Plaza Greater Noida, we continually seek to deliver immersive dining experiences. ‘Kitchen of Mughals’ is not just a meal – it’s a journey through the rich history and opulence of one of the world’s most celebrated culinary legacies.”

The event will also feature regal ambience, live Indian classical music, and service reflective of royal hospitality- making it a must-visit for food connoisseurs and culture enthusiasts alike.
