The Croix des Verdons Via Ferrata requires stamina and nerves of steel, as the route is high and quite exposed but offers breathtaking views. The ascent covers a 225-metre cumulated elevation gain in a 3-hour climb, to finally arrive at an altitude of 2,738 metres. It offers an impressive view of the highest peaks of the Vanoise and the Mont Blanc range.
Via Ferrata in the Alps is the ideal mountain activity for experiencing new thrills and excitement or even to improve your skills. Head to the via ferrata at Lac de la Rosière, where travellers get the opportunity to cross a magnificent Nepalese bridge. The most experienced climbers can go to the Croix des Verdons, the highest Via Ferrata in France.
