The Corbett Tiger Reserve, one of the most popular destinations among wildlife lovers and photographers have seen unprecedented response from the travel enthusiasts when they opened their online booking platform recently after a long closure due to nationwide lockdown followed by monsoon season.

Quite in contrast to the anticipation of a slow pick up of tourist turn-out due to post covid fear and hesitation, there were 280 bookings for night rest on the first day, which is a record till date.

Online booking for night rest started in various zones on the Corbett Tiger Reserve website from 10 am on Monday morning. From 10 am to 5 pm, 280 tourists booked for night rest.

All these bookings have been done from October 15 to December 14. Tourists have booked for a stay at the rest house at Bijrani, Dhela, Jhirna, Dhikala and Sona River. There is a lot of enthusiasm and motivation in the Corbett administration with so many bookings on the first day only.
