Clarks Collection, recently merged with IHCL, has announced its latest expansion through a strategic collaboration with the Khinvasara Group. The agreement marks the signing of a 50-key property in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, aimed at catering to the needs of mid-segment and budget-conscious travellers, while offering exceptional comfort and amenities.

The upcoming property will feature a multi-cuisine restaurant, banquet facilities, and services designed to attract not just leisure guests but also the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) and wedding segments. This move aligns with the brand’s mission to meet the rising demand for upscale yet affordable accommodations in high-potential destinations.

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, often called the “Gateway to the Ajanta and Ellora Caves,” is one of India’s most prominent heritage cities, known for its UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Mughal-era monuments such as Bibi Ka Maqbara, and the imposing Daulatabad Fort. Its rich cultural tapestry, vibrant bazaars, and proximity to iconic tourist attractions make it a hub for domestic and international travellers alike.

Speaking about the new signing, Ravindra Khinvasara Managing Director, Khinvasara Group, said: “The tourism industry is evolving rapidly. With the government’s push towards tourism development, many new destinations are gaining prominence. Indian travellers today are highly value-conscious, seeking world-class amenities at competitive prices. With the signing up we want to enter the tourism and hospitality industry, our goal is to serve young travellers, families, and corporate groups by providing them with quality stays that balance comfort and affordability.”

Satyajeet Khinvasara Director New Business Development, Khinvasara Group further adds,” We are excited about this new chapter, and promise to give travellers a memorable experience.”

Established in 1958, the Khinvasara Group was founded with a clear vision to provide comfortable and premium housing to the residents of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. Over the years, the Group has built a legacy of trust, delivering thoughtfully designed spaces that reflect a deep understanding of the city’s evolving needs, its people, and its infrastructure projects. With a forward-looking approach, Khinvasara Group has consistently stayed ahead of market trends, developing infrastructure in anticipation of future demand.

The addition of Clarks Collection Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar is a significant milestone in Clarks Hotels & Resorts’ broader vision to deepen its presence across India’s leisure, heritage, and event-driven markets. The partnership with Khinvasara Group further strengthens its position in Maharashtra, enabling the brand to tap into a growing traveller base in the region.
