Chi Ni at The Roseate New Delhi invites guests on a vibrant culinary journey to Malaysia with a specially curated Malaysian Food Pop-Up, celebrating the rich, diverse and flavour-forward cuisine of the region. Scheduled from 24th July to 30th July 2026, the limited-period dining experience will be available during dinner service on an à la carte basis.
Bringing the essence of Malaysian culinary traditions to the table, the pop-up will showcase a thoughtfully crafted menu by Guest Chef Fitri, featuring an exciting selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes that highlight the bold, layered flavours of Malaysian cuisine from fragrant spices and coconut-rich curries to smoky grills, comforting noodles and traditional desserts.
Guests can look forward to signature dishes such as Satay Ayam bersama Kuah Kacang, the iconic Malaysian chicken skewers served with peanut sauce; Nasi Lemak bersama Ayam Bercili, Malaysia’s beloved coconut rice dish paired with spicy chicken sambal; and Char Kway Teow Udang, a smoky stir-fried flat noodle dish with prawns. The menu will also feature regional favourites such as Rendang Kambing, a slow-cooked royal-style mutton rendang, and Udang Masak Lemak Cili Api, prawns simmered in a spicy coconut-based gravy.
Vegetarian offerings will include dishes like Gado-Gado bersama Kuah Kacang, a classic Malaysian-style vegetable salad with peanut dressing, Rendang Nangka Muda, a jackfruit rendang prepared with aromatic spices and coconut milk, and Laksam Kelantan, a comforting northern Malaysian rice noodle preparation.
To round off the experience, diners can indulge in traditional Malaysian desserts such as Onde-Onde, Sagu Gula Melaka, and Tepung Pelita, each offering a sweet glimpse into the country’s culinary heritage.
Set against the elegant backdrop of Chi Ni, the Malaysian Food Pop-Up promises a memorable exploration of Malaysia’s culinary culture, reimagined with authenticity and flair.
