New Delhi – This week, the vibrant flavours and traditions of Bengal arrive at Capital Kitchen, Taj Palace, New Delhi, as it hosts ‘Rannaghor’er Golpo – A Bengali Culinary Table.’ The special dining event, running from July 18th to 26th (7 PM to 10:30 PM), is curated by renowned food writer and culinary curator Ayandrali Dutta in collaboration with Executive Chef Nitin Mathur.
The thoughtfully crafted menu pays homage to the expansive world of Bengali cuisine, featuring a rich assortment of regional classics, timeless favourites, and beloved family recipes. Guests are invited to experience the warmth and diversity of the Bengali table beyond the familiar realm of fish and rice.

According to Ayandrali Dutta, “The vegetarian repertoire in Bengali cuisine is both vast and exceptional. Starting from sukto to jhinge posto, cholar dal, sona muger dal, potoler dolma and various saag preparations—the list just keeps on growing. There is so much more to Bengali food, and this event is also a celebration of those delicious vegetarian treasures, besides your kosha mangso and dab chingri etc.”
This limited-time dining experience at Capital Kitchen promises to be a treat for food lovers looking to explore and indulge in the colourful tapestry of Bengali vegetarian cooking.
