Call Me Chunky announces its expansion into three of India’s fastest-growing consumer markets: Delhi NCR, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad.

Recognising the shift in how urban Indians consume ice-cream, Call Me Chunky is bypassing traditional brick-and-mortar entry in favour of a hyper-local digital strategy. In Delhi NCR, the brand is now available on quick commerce platforms such as Instamart, Zepto, BigBasket Now, and Amazon Now. In Hyderabad, consumers can order it from Instamart, Zepto, Blinkit, BigBasket Now, and Amazon Now. Meanwhile, in Ahmedabad, the brand is currently accessible via Zepto and BigBasket Now.

This entry is fueled by the cities’ evolving palate for gourmet experiences and their established infrastructure for rapid delivery by focusing on high-density urban zones and leveraging existing dark store networks.

“India’s ice cream industry is at a defining inflection point, with the market valued at ₹268 billion in 2024 and projected to grow at a robust CAGR of 16.7% to cross ₹1,078 billion by 2033. This growth is being driven by rising disposable incomes and a clear shift towards premium, experience-led indulgences, positioning ice cream as an everyday luxury for the modern Indian consumer,” said Ashish Tendulkar, Chief Operating Officer at Call Me Chunky. “Delhi NCR, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad offer the ideal landscape for our expansion, cities with a discerning audience that values quality, experience and flavour innovation. By leveraging leading digital marketplaces, we are accelerating our regional presence with speed and precision, ensuring our offerings reach consumers with immediacy and consistency.”

Call Me Chunky enters the market with its much-loved debut flavours. The curation includes Berry Cheesy Dream, a strawberry-cheesecake blend, and Cookie Caramel Charms, which balance sweet and salty notes with a distinct crunch. Pop-Pop Caramel offers a unique mix of chocolate-coated almonds and popcorn flavour, while Raspy Choco White pairs the tartness of raspberries with rich white chocolate. For chocolate enthusiasts, Fudgy Rocky Road features gooey marshmallows and nuts, while Choco Brownie Spells is loaded with dense brownie pieces.

These six initial offerings are just the start, with additional imaginative flavours coming soon.
