Gurugram, August 22, 2024: Brightsun Travel hosts its “Inspire a Teen to Work in Travel Day” on August 20, 2024, providing 15 students from Atul Memorial High School with an immersive experience into the world of travel.

The event, designed to foster interest in the travel industry among young minds, featured a comprehensive program including an office tour, interactive workshops, and insightful presentations by industry experts. Students gained valuable insights into various roles within the travel sector, honed their interview skills, and explored potential career paths.

“We were thrilled with the enthusiasm and engagement of the students,” said Anju Sethi, Head of Human Resources at Brightsun Travel India. “Our goal is to inspire the next generation of travel professionals, and based on the feedback, we believe we were able to achieve that.”

Highlights of the day included an interview skills workshop, a hands-on travel itinerary creation exercise, and informative presentations from different departments within Brightsun Travel. Students also had the opportunity to interact with travel professionals in small group sessions.

“I have gained an insight into the subjects I need to study in college, how to tackle challenging questions in interviews and even create a resume to apply for jobs. It was exciting to learn about travel and the many opportunities it holds, that I could pursue in my career,” said Harshvardhan, one of the attendees at the event.

Brightsun Travel is committed to giving back to the community and believes in nurturing young talent. The company plans to make “Inspire a Teen to Work in Travel Day” an annual event, expanding its reach to more schools and students in the coming years.
