Brand USA Organizes Sales Mission to Mumbai and Delhi
Brand USA ‘S 2023 special India Sales Mission took place in Mumbai and Delhi from March 19 to March 23, 2023. Meanwhile, this week saw the big-screen debuts of Brand USA’s third movie, Into Nature’s Wild, in Mumbai and Delhi. Additional showings are planned for Chennai and Bangalore. 25 US exhibitors, a few top Indian buyers, and important participants like representatives from airlines, hotels, and the US Embassy and Consular Services were present.
With 1,256,915 arrivals overall between January and December 2022, India ranks fourth among all foreign markets for the United States, excluding Canada and Mexico. 203,540 Indians visited the United States, according to the most recent statistics, which showed a robust growth in visitor arrivals at the end of February.
Air connectivity between the two countries also further strengthened, with Air India launching two direct flights to San Francisco from Bangalore and Mumbai in December 2022 and Mumbai to New York (JFK) on 14 February 2023, taking their total number of non-stop flights to 46 weekly These are in addition to seven weekly direct flights operated from Newark to Delhi by United Airlines and seven weekly direct flights from New York (JFK) by American Airlines.
This year’s sales mission also featured a showing of Brand USA’s most recent movie, “Into Nature’s Wild,” which takes audiences on a cross-country tour to uncover the hidden beauty of the US outdoors. The film, which is narrated by Morgan Freeman, highlights the transformative power of nature and wildness while displaying the grandeur of some of the continent’s lesser-known regions. Three trailblazing individuals with a shared love of nature, Native American astronaut John Herrington, Alaskan pilot Ariel Twetoand, and record-breaking long-distance hiker Jennifer Pharr Davis, serve as on-screen guides for the duration of the expedition.
