New Delhi, March 31st,  2023: The leading provider of electric mobility solutions in India, Chartered Bike Pvt Ltd (CBPL), has partnered with BLive, the multi-brand electric vehicle platform, to offer last-mile delivery services, e-commerce deliveries, and public bike sharing. According to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) inked by BLive and CBPL, the partnership will aim to deploy 10,000 2-wheeler EVs and 1,000 3-wheeler EVs nationwide over the next three years. The three phases of deployment for the complete MoU, which has an estimated value of INR 120 Cr, are INR 30 Cr in the first year, INR 40 Cr in the second year, and INR 50 Cr in the third year.

The partnership between BLive and CBPL is aimed at helping last-mile delivery companies, such as Zomato, Swiggy, Amazon, Flipkart, Delhivery, Porter and many more, to resolve the supply gap of electric vehicles in the market. The MoU between BLive and CBPL aims to resolve this issue by helping these organisations deploy vehicles nationwide, with a focus on Tier II cities.

Leading supplier of electric mobility solutions, Chartered Bike Pvt Ltd specialises in last-mile delivery services, in-campus mobility, public bike sharing, and e-commerce delivery. CBPL is positioned to offer affordable, ecologically responsible, and sustainable transportation solutions. The public bike-sharing service offered by CBPL means to provide city residents and commuters with easy, cost-effective, and healthy mobility options. Riders can effortlessly navigate the metropolitan environment while lowering their carbon impact thanks to CBPL’s fleet of modern electric bicycles. In addition to providing public bike sharing, CBPL provides on-campus mobility options to support teachers, staff, and students’ efficient and sustainable movement across their respective campuses. These electric cars are ideal for errands or quick journeys between buildings around campus.

Speaking about the collaboration, Samarth Kholkar, CEO & Co-Founder, BLive, said “We are excited to partner with Chartered Bike Pvt Ltd to further our cause for greater adoption of EVs in the country. With a focus on electric vehicles for their delivery fleet, last-mile delivery service providers have been a major accelerator of India’s electric mobility revolution. The use of electric vehicles will significantly reduce the cost of operation and energy expenses. The lower operating costs, simple mechanism and low maintenance make EVs a winning proposition for the last-mile delivery service providers.”

Because of its substantial presence in 15 locations, particularly Tier II cities, along with its brand image of strong after-sales service, CBPL is aiming to manage its operations effectively. As part of the agreement, CBPL will be in charge of making sure that this continues on the ground after the deployment of EVs. As one of the biggest and fastest-growing electric vehicle (EV) platforms in the nation, Blive will enhance the deployment of EVs through marketing initiatives and offer end-to-end technological solutions while concurrently generating a high return on investment for its partner, Chartered Bike Private Limited.
