Bira 91 Taproom made its much-anticipated debut in Pune with the launch of its first-ever outpost in the city at The Mills, Sangamvadi. Spanning 3,200 sq. ft. and accommodating 130 guests, this marks the brand’s 9th Taproom, featuring a 16-tap wall pouring the most diverse and innovative range of beers in the city.

Infused with a contemporary and industrial design, the interiors of the Bira 91 Taproom are thoughtfully crafted to balance warmth, creativity, and character. Natural greenery, a tranquil wall fountain, and hand-painted arches illustrating the journey from grain to mug lend the space a distinct charm. The result is a lively yet welcoming atmosphere that encourages guests to unwind, connect, and explore.

The food menu mirrors the Taproom’s innovative spirit, offering globally inspired comfort dishes such as sliders, small plates, flatbreads, and Asian-inspired creations all designed to pair seamlessly with its wide range of craft beers & handcrafted cocktails. From flagship favourites to experimental small-batch brews, every mug tells a story of craftsmanship and flavor.

Staying true to its ethos of innovation, the Bira 91 Taproom in Pune will introduce a new beer on tap every week as part of its signature “Make Play Thursdays”, giving patrons a reason to return for something new each time. Beyond the brews, the Taproom will host a vibrant lineup of events including beer-tasting sessions, pub quizzes, live music, indie gigs, sports screenings, LGBTQ+ and pet-friendly events, making it a true community hub for the city’s creative crowd.

Speaking on the launch, Rahul Singh, Founder & CEO, BTB Marketing, said, “The launch of the Bira 91 Taproom in Pune marks a key milestone in our expansion journey as we continue to grow our footprint across India’s most vibrant cities. Pune’s thriving craft beer culture makes it the perfect market for our experiential Taproom format, which brings together innovation, community, and craft. With the largest tap wall in the city and a constantly evolving beer lineup, this outpost embodies our vision of redefining how consumers experience beer.”

Located at The Mills, Unit No. 10, Sai Radhe Road, Station Road, behind Sheraton Grand Pune Bund Garden Hotel, the Bira 91 Taproom operates from 12 noon to 1:30 am. With meals for two priced at ₹2,000 and drinks starting at ₹229, it’s set to become Pune’s go-to destination for great beer, bold flavours, and unforgettable experiences.
