Baghdera Meadows Wildlife Resorts is set to host an exclusive wildlife showcase titled “In the Wild – Tadoba” on Thursday, May 14th, 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Maharashtra Sadan, New Delhi. The event will feature renowned wildlife experts Sameer Bakshi and Tarun Walecha, who will present field stories and insights from the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve.
The event brings together wildlife storytelling, responsible tourism and experiential hospitality under one roof. It is unique in its format, blending expert-led narratives from the field with an immersive travel experience. By spotlighting Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve, the showcase aims to deepen public understanding of India’s rich biodiversity while encouraging meaningful engagement with nature through responsible travel.
As a special highlight, attendees will have the opportunity to win a complimentary two-night retreat for two at Baghdera Meadows, located in the heart of tiger country. Supported by Maharashtra Tourism.

Beyond celebration, the initiative emphasizes the urgent need for conservation and natural preservation. As wildlife habitats face increasing environmental pressures, platforms like this help foster dialogue around sustainable tourism, ecological balance, and community participation in protecting natural ecosystems. By connecting urban audiences in New Delhi with stories from the forest, the event seeks to inspire respect for wildlife and reinforce the importance of safeguarding tiger reserves for future generations.
Ravi Naidu, Managing Director, Baghdera Meadows Wildlife Resorts, said: “Our vision is to create experiences that connect people with nature in the most authentic way. ‘In the Wild – Tadoba’ is an invitation to rediscover the wilderness responsibly and meaningfully. We are delighted to offer a complimentary two-night retreat to encourage guests to experience the beauty of tiger country firsthand.”
R. Vimala, IAS, Resident Commissioner & Secretary, Government of Maharashtra, Maharashtra Sadan, stated, “Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve is not just an icon of Maharashtra’s wildlife wealth, it is a living testament to our responsibility toward nature. I have been among the fortunate few to experience it firsthand, to be surrounded by its untamed beauty and in a moment of pure grace, to sight the tiger itself. That experience changes you. It is precisely why efforts like this matter because conservation thrives when communities and institutions come together to ensure that our natural heritage is experienced, celebrated, and protected.”
Shubhra Krishan, Editor, Travel Secrets, added, “Travel Secrets is proud to collaborate on experiences that combine storytelling, discovery and responsible exploration. The opportunity to win a two-night retreat in the heart of tiger country reflects our shared commitment to curating journeys that are immersive yet ethical.”
The event is open to invited guests and wildlife enthusiasts, bringing together conservation dialogue, travel inspiration, and hospitality innovation in a single platform.
