With an impressive four decades of experience in hospitality operations, Alain Trefois is set to lead the team at Helengeli Island. Throughout his distinguished career, Alain has held senior leadership roles with renowned international brands across Belgium, France, the Maldives, Spain, Switzerland, and the UK.
His expertise spans luxury hotel and resort operations, including food and beverage, rooms division, and spa and wellness. He is renowned for transforming properties into award-winning destinations and fostering high-performing teams. A native of Belgium, Alain exemplifies global citizenship, speaking Dutch, English, French, Spanish, and German fluently. His multicultural outlook is a key strength in hospitality and team leadership.

Mohammed Belhacen Appointed Cluster Director of Revenue Overseeing Seven Resorts
Mohammed Belhacen joins Atmosphere Core’s corporate team as the Cluster Director of Revenue for Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts and COLOURS OF OBLU brands. A French national with extensive global experience, Mohammed has built an illustrious career in revenue management, working across Canada, France, Morocco, Switzerland, and the UK. He has successfully implemented revenue strategies for a range of properties, from luxury to midscale, excelling in both leisure and group-focused markets.
With a reputation for cultivating a revenue-focused mindset within teams, Mohammed has held senior leadership roles with prestigious international brands. Most recently, he served as Senior Multi-Hotel Director of Revenue for Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, overseeing its Moroccan portfolio.
In his new role, Mohammed Belhacen will draw upon his deep expertise in revenue optimisation, market analytics, and strategic forecasting to enhance profitability and drive long-term growth across the seven resorts under his remit. “Revenue management is all about finding the perfect balance”, says Mohammed Belhacen. “From optimising pricing structures to filling the gaps in occupancy, every element must align seamlessly.
