National, August 6, 2024: Atlys announces the launch of its AI-powered Visa Probability Evaluator tool that aims at reducing 80% of visa rejections. This innovative feature leverages advanced AI and machine learning models to provide applicants with a predictive assessment of their likelihood of visa approval, setting a new standard in the travel and visa industry.

This launch comes at a time when many visa applicants in India have recently faced significant challenges due to last-minute visa application rejections, leading to financial losses and disrupted travel plans. The Visa Probability Evaluator represents a significant improvement in handling visa applications. It provides users with a clear, easy, and stress-free way to evaluate their chances of obtaining a visa before starting the application process. Atlys is transforming the travel experience with this tool.

For example, a Delhi-based executive, Mayank Sharma, lost Rs 3.5 lakh on non-refundable flight and hotel bookings when his Schengen visa was denied just two days before his scheduled departure. The new tool aims to mitigate these risks by offering more reliable insights into visa approval probabilities.

This tool offers several benefits to users. By understanding their visa chances, applicants can avoid unnecessary bookings, saving both time and money. This leads to more efficient travel planning and helps manage expenses. Additionally, the tool reduces the emotional stress and anxiety often associated with visa uncertainty. As an evaluator, it enables travellers to make informed decisions and refine their application strategy.

“We encourage users to assess their visa probability even if their travel plans are 1-2 years away. This foresight allows ample time to address and strengthen any gaps in their application. Atlys has always been committed to simplifying and enhancing the visa process through innovation,” says Harshil Shah, Product Lead, Atlys. “With the launch of our Visa Probability Evaluator, we are providing travellers with unprecedented clarity and confidence, ensuring they can approach their visa applications with a strategic advantage.”

To use this tool, applicants need to enter details about their travel plans and upload the necessary documents for their visa application on the Atlys platform. The platform’s smart algorithm will then analyze data points from past visa applications to generate a probability score for visa approval. Users will receive a detailed report that outlines their likelihood of approval, along with actionable insights to enhance their chances.

According to the Schengen Statistics Portal, Indians lost a whopping Rs 109 crore (approximately €12.1 million) due to rejected visa applications. Out of 966,687 applications submitted by Indians, 151,752 were denied. When a visa application is rejected, the fee paid is non-refundable, leading to considerable losses for applicants.
