ANTHARA: A Pause Between One City and Two Continents.

In a city pulsing with caffeine, code, and constant motion, ANTHARA offers something refreshingly different—The Place to Pause, Taste, And Truly Savourr.

Bangalore’s first café-beer bar hybrid brings 11 distinct experiences under one roof, blending French finesse with American soul and local sensibilities. In a world that rarely stops, Anthara dares to ask: What if we made time taste better?

    The Art of the Pause

“Bangalore is a city open to new ideas, global tastes, and meaningful experiences,” says Mr. Balasundar, reflecting on the vision behind Anthara. The name itself—Anthara, meaning “pause” or “interval” in Sanskrit—captures the essence of this space: “We wanted to create a place where fine craftsmanship meets everyday indulgence,” he explains. “Where you can halt —and savour a slice of cake, a warm croissant, or a beautifully brewed cup. It’s that weightless pause when the taste, the atmosphere, and the company align—and a smile finds you, uninvited but welcome”.

    ANTHARA

Flavors That Flow from AM to PM

What sets ANTHARA apart is its seamless flow of thoughtfully curated experiences, from a quiet morning coffee to a lively evening craft beer.

The Bakery & French-American Pastry Shop blends traditional techniques with bold, inventive flavours—think delicate choux filled with saffron-cardamom custard or a mango-chilli compote hidden inside a classic cheesecake.

At lunch, the Stone-Baked Wood-Fired Pizzeria transforms mealtime into an aromatic performance, while the Hybrid Workspace speaks to Bangalore’s ever-evolving work culture, offering free Wi-Fi and thoughtfully designed collaborative zones.

When cravings strike, the American Smash Burger Station delivers caramelized perfection, and the Open Grill & BBQ Kitchen fills the air with smoky, fire-kissed aromas from live cooking.

The Fresh Brewed Beer Café is ANTHARA’s crown jewel—a relaxed taproom set above the city’s buzz. Time slows here over chilled craft beer, small-batch cold brews, kombucha, and curated wines(coming soon). Each sip is perfectly paired with artisan bakes, short eats, and desserts—making every visit a curated indulgence.

    Chocolate with Soul

ANTHARA’s chocolates are in a league of their own—not quite Indian mithai, not classic European confections, but a bold meeting of cultures and flavours. Think dark chocolate with tangy lime, or jaggery kissed with sea salt. Made with minimal sugar, each ingredient shines on its own. Partnering with ethical bean-to-bar producers from South India, ANTHARA is now moving toward single-origin cacao—crafting chocolates that are honest, responsible, and full of character.

“We create moments that are not just delicious, but unexpected—where every bite tells a story,” The team says.

    ANTHARA

    Inclusive by Design

ANTHARA isn’t just about great food—it’s about creating a space where everyone feels at home. As Bangalore’s first fully wheelchair-accessible café, it’s thoughtfully built for ease, comfort, and connection. Whether you’re a chocolate lover, a remote worker, a couple celebrating something special, or a pet parent out for a stroll—ANTHARA opens its doors to all.

    The ANTHARA Moment

In a world of quick bites and faster lives, they’re offering something revolutionary-

Where Flavors Travel and Time Slows.
