Our journey to the secluded luxury hideaway of Anopura began as we left the bustling national capital behind. Despite the cold winter morning, the drizzle that started as we sped down the Mumbai Expressway added to the excitement of our adventure. The cloudy sky, vibrant greenery, and smooth black road provided the perfect backdrop, accompanied by the nostalgic tunes of Kishore Kumar. It truly was an enchanting journey.
As we neared our destination, the bumpy roads took us through the stunning landscape of the Aravalli Mountains. Curving along the greenest part of this majestic range, we finally arrived at the much-anticipated hideaway. The air was filled with the delightful fragrance of Champa flowers, enveloping us in a feeling of freshness. Piyush, the friendly Resident Manager, greeted us with a warm smile, accompanied by his attentive staff.
Anopura is a sanctuary nestled amidst the breathtaking Aravalli Mountains. Offering a fully organic environment and surrounded by lush greenery and tranquil serenity, this enchanting destination provides a truly opulent living experience. Spanning nearly 90 acres, Anopura is the embodiment of Aditya Baheti’s visionary dream.
We were escorted to our luxurious abode, Paradise 360. The name couldn’t have been more fitting, as this glass house cottage was surrounded by verdant trees and colorful flowers. A private temperature-controlled swimming pool awaited us at the front, while the garden on the other side had chairs and tables thoughtfully arranged amidst nature’s embrace. The spacious rooms were equipped with modern amenities, and the bathrooms surprised us with their open showers.
At Anopura, the concept of farm-to-table took on a literal and visual meaning. The dining area was set up amidst the vast farmland, allowing us to savor fresh and organic food while feasting our eyes on the green fields meeting the horizon of the Aravalli Mountains. This unique dining experience was truly unforgettable.
Every corner of the 90-acre property resembled a picturesque frame, meticulously designed to blend with nature and luxury. The cozy bar, located beside the dining area, was no exception. I spent hours there, engrossed in selective books from various genres, sinking lazily into the comfortable sofa while gazing out the window at the dense forest.
The evenings at Anopura were equally delightful. We had the option to explore the sprawling property, which had been carefully maintained to seamlessly merge with the natural landscape of the region. Towering trees, colorful flowers, and a vibrant birdlife made this haven a paradise for birders and those seeking peace and tranquility in a stylish and luxurious setting.
Piyush was kind enough to give us a tour of the property, showcasing the new cluster that featured an infinity pool, where one could indulge in the mesmerizing beauty of sunsets and sunrises with a glass of wine. The bustling dairy farm, with its cattle, ducks, camels, hens, and turkeys, offered a treasure trove of farm experiences. Guests were welcome to participate in activities such as milking and other farm-related tasks. The fishing pond was also a great attraction for those who desired a fishing experience.
After a memorable dinner, arranged amidst the intimate glow of candlelight and accompanied by soulful music, we reluctantly returned to our paradise. The only regret was that the day had to come to an end. However, the allure of the late-night hot water swimming pool under the twinkling December stars was an experience that would forever be etched in our memories.
Our stay in this magnificent establishment proved to be an exceptional and unforgettable experience. The stunning property, combined with the warm hospitality extended by the staff, elevated our stay to a whole new level of luxury.
